Horst started off well in his first race. Needing to finish in the top two in order to keep advancing, Horst finished in first place in the round of 64 and in the round of 32.

That was as far as Horst would get over the weekend. His next event was the quarter finals where he finished in fourth place in heat number three.

The result means that Horst takes away 224 points to go along with his 11th place finish.
