Slightly more than 67 and a half thousand dollars were awarded and there were other Northeast recipient groups in Moberly Lake, Tumbler Ridge, Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, and Fort Nelson. 

Two of the local recipients are identified as groups serving the entire northeast region and both deal with HIV prevention, the Northern BC First Nations HIV/Aids Coalition, and the North East Youth Train-the-Trainers group.

The health authority identifies the work done by the recipient groups, as being aligned with Northern Health strategic priorities, for healthier communities and populations.
