There are a number of options for participants to choose from. There is a short course and a long course race. There is also a long course team event, and a junior event as well.

In the duathlon competitors will run for three kilometres, as well as a 26 kilometre bike ride, and a final three kilometre run.

Those 17 and under or choosing to take part in the short course will run for three kilometres, bike for 11 kilometres, and swim for 300 metres.

Competitors 18 and older will run for six kilometres, bike for 26 kilometres, and swim for 1,000 metres.
