Fort St. John opened the scoring in the first period on the power play 6:29 into the game. The score held heading into the second period.

In the second frame the Rangers tied the game early with a goal 1:53 into the period, and they would take the lead before time was out to lead 2-1 after 40 minutes.

The Flyers were able to tie things in the third however the Rangers were to much to overcome as they took a 3-2 lead and never relinquished it.

Jared Andersen was in goal for the game and stopped 33 of 36 shots in the loss.
