The accident occurred on the Mile 132 Road at the Alaska Highway as the logging truck was turning off the highway.

The driver of the pick up was flown by helicopter to the Fort St. John Hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries. The two passengers meanwhile were also taken to the Fort St. John hospital, but by ambulance with non serious injuries.

The driver of the logging truck was unharmed.

The accident itself did not hinder travel on the highway, however it did have to be closed temporarily while the helicopter landed at the scene.
