The incident began yesterday afternoon during the dinner hour when an officer noticed an Ford F-150 driving erratically.
 
When they tried to pull him over, he sped away; moments later involved in a collision with another vehicle.
 
Police, at that point, ended the pursuit.
 
The truck, however, was spotted shortly afterwards, in another part of town.
 
It was there, Mounties were able to stop the vehicle.
 
The suspect, once again, fleeing from police but, this time, on foot.
 
Exact charges are being decided on.
 
The man’s name is expected to be released, once formal charges have been laid.
 
He is expected to appear for a bail hearing this morning (March 31)  in Grande Prairie Provincial Court.
