Fort McMurray opened the scoring in game three with a goal before the six minute mark, but 1:01 later the Flyers would tie the game at one.

As had been the case in the previous two games, the teams were so well matched that there was no further scoring until double overtime. In the fifth period of the game, FortSt. John found the back of the net and booked their ticket to the next round with a goal with 12:08 left in double overtime.

Scoring in order for the Flyers were Austin Crossley, and Aaron Kosinsky.

The Knights of Columbus Flyers now advance to take on Peace River in the division finals. Dates for the series are still in the works.
