WestJet Doubles Service From Fort St. John

Company spokesperson Robert Palmer says they’re extremely pleased with the response from the North Peace on both their Vancouver and Calgary runs.  He says Vancouver, in particular, has become a popular destination, not only for the vacation traveller, but for the business person.

WestJet began its encore service last Spring offering once-daily flights between the Energetic City and Calgary, Vancouver.   At this point, though, based on demand, the airline isn’t looking at ‘doubling’ its service to Calgary.

Unlike last year where the company opened new markets in the West, Palmer says the focus in 2014 will be in Central Canada.
