Youth Advisory Council hosting first youth photo scavenger hunt

In a release, YAC Chair Shayla Faminow says, “The YAC has organized numerous events in the community over the past years, aiming to provide our youth a social outlet in a positive environment. In the past we have organized several dances, participated in the Canada Day parade, and this year we want to try something different. We feel that a photo scavenger hunt aimed specifically at youth will give our generation a voice in our community.”

Those wanting to take part can either register individually or in groups up to four people. The event will conclude with an art exhibit at the Fort St. John Visitor Centre on June 5.

Registration is ongoing until March 24 and is open to Fort St. John residents and/or students in School District 60 between the ages of 10 and 21 years old.
