Of note: Fort Nelson’s G.W. Carlson Elementary where the school received a rating of 8.2 out of 10, tying it with five other schools in 97th place. It was the highest score among schools in the region.
Fort St. John’s C.M. Finch placed 121st with a mark of 7.9.
Looking at other schools in the area — Tremblay Elementary in Dawson Creek was next on the list at 7.5, while Baldonnel scored a 7.3 out of 10 in the poll.
Secondary schools in the region, however, struggled with South Peace Secondary (Dawson Creek) receiving a 3.1 while North Peace Secondary (Fort St. John) scored a 2.5.
