Youth Science Canada has awarded Frankham with its Distinguished Service Award, only one of three handed out to a BC teacher this year.  

In a release by Science Fair Foundation BC, it says the award recognizes long-term service to and leadership in regional and national science fair activities.

Frankham is being recognized for his involvement with the Northern BC Regional Science Fair.
