Morrison to visit local schools during homecoming trip

He’ll begin his school visits with a trip to Robert Ogilvie Elementary tomorrow morning at 8:45 a.m. From there Morrison is heading to Dr. Kearney Middle School at 10:15. In the afternoon he’ll be making an appearance at Duncan Cran Elementary at 1:30 p.m.

The school visits will continue on Thursday as Morrison will be at North Peace Secondary School at 11 a.m. before making his final school visit at the Energetic Learning Campus at 1:30 p.m.

Those wanting to offer their congratulations to Morrison on his Olympic success will have two opportunities to do so. Morrison will be landing tonight at the Fort St. John Airport at approximately 6:22 p.m. He’s expected to stick around for an hour to sign autographs and to take pictures. Those unable to see him at the airport will have a second chance to see him at the Pomeroy Sport Centre tomorrow afternoon for a community celebration starting at 6 p.m.
