Tom’s Construction, Cabre Oilfield off to strong start at 2014 Oilmen’s Hockey Tournament

In yesterday’s action there were two tie games as Ditmarsia Holdings and Complete Pumpjack finished at 3-3, and TCL and Northern Vac Services battled to a 5-5 draw.

In other games Tom’s Construction defeated Baker Hughes 7-2 and later beat Magnum Oilfield Rentals 5-3. Fort Motors edged Complete Pumpjack 6-4, Cabre Oilfield doubled up Magnum Oilfield Rentals 6-3, and Baker Hughes got past Nov Wilson 7-4.

One game from this morning is in the books as Cabre Oilfield improved to 2-0 with a win over Nov Wilson 5-3.

Playoffs begin tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. and the final game is expected to wrap up at approximately 4:30 p.m.
