Chamber of Commerce hosting crime prevention luncheon


Guests will hear from a number of officers who will discuss a diverse rage of topics in regard to crime in the city and prevention techniques.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie from the Crime Prevention Unit will teach the audience how to protect themselves and their businesses though prevention techniques, while Inspector Pat Engan will discuss the challenges police face as the energy sector and population continues to grow.

Cst. Bradley VanDine and Cst. Kevin Marques will explain the ins and outs of Cops for Cancer and how everybody can get involved in the community.

The event will take place Tuesday, May 20th at 12-1pm, 9830 – 100th Avenue.

Members of the Chamber are charged $25 dollars while the price for potential members is $35 dollars. If you would like to reserve a seat, you can contact the Chamber office at 250 785 6037 or fax an attached registration form to 250 785 6050.
