Shaw takes third consecutive King of Spring race

Barb Polehoykie was the top female finisher as she took the Queen of Spring crown. She had a time of 2:06:15.

Second place went to George Gamble in 1:57:20, third was Pat Ferris in 2:01:18 and fourth went to Dawit Feyissa as he finished in 2:03:39.

The battle for fifth was tightly contested. Roger St. Jean led a pack containing Barb Polehoykie and Gord Harris at 2:06:15. Ninth went to Davide Loro in 2:15:17.

On Wednesday the Blizzard Bike Club will be having their annual general meeting and elections at Northern Lights College at 7 p.m. in room 105. All members are urged to attend.

On the streets the next race takes place with a duathlon on Tuesday and a time trial on Thursday. Both events are at 7 p.m. at Baldonnel.
