Bargaining continues, summer school an essential service

A B.C. Teachers’ Federation spokesperson confirms bargaining teams for the union and the employer are sitting down for face to face talks again today.

Meantime, the Labor Relation’s Board decision on the governments call for summer school to be deemed an essential service could come as early as today.

This after the teacher’s union made it clear yesterday without such a ruling from the LRB summer schools would be behind picket lines this year.
