Fort St. John Triathlon to take place Sunday morning

Greg Tone took the top spot in the long course event last year with a time of 1:31:27. Tate Haugan was the winner of the junior short course and regular short course competitions with a time of 39:50. Nikki Haugan was the top finisher in the duathlon at 1:12:59.

The short course and the 12-17 race consists of a 300 metre swim, 11 kilometre bike ride, and a three kilometre run. The regular triathlon has distances of a 750 metre swim, 26 kilometre bike ride, and a six kilometre run. The duathlon is a three kilometre run, 26 kilometre bike ride, and a final three kilometre run.
