Isobel Mackenzie is coming to Fort St. John this Monday

Mackenzie has already visited Terrace, Williams Lake and Prince George, and is looking to corroborate the unique differences, and similarities of the challenges seniors are experiencing in rural parts of B.C., as well as the province as a whole.

Mackenzie says common complaints she’s heard surrounding the Northeast and Northwest are the burden of attending medical appointments, finding appropriate housing, public transportation and the cost of receiving specialized medical attention.

The meeting is taking place June 16, 2014, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
