Close call for a young lad during family camping trip

The boy, just shy of 7 years old, was at Monteny Centennial Park with his family, when his two sisters, aged 5 and 6, were playing in the car and managed to place it into drive, accidentally running into the tent, according to local RCMP.

“The tires didn’t go over him, the car just rolled over the tent and he wiggled his way out,” Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said. “

The boy avoided being seriously injured, walking away with just minor scratches and bruises, but was taken to the local hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
