Dawson Creek RCMP reaches out to the public after a wave of crime hits the streets

On the night of July 24, a 2 seat 2012 Polaris Razor ATV and associated trailer was stolen from an address in Pouce Coupe.

The trailer is described as a black Trail Tech Flat Deck Trailer bearing the B.C. licence plate of UTJ 25J.

Over the weekend of July 26 and 27, the Dawson Creek RCMP received calls of 2 older trucks stolen and burnt.

One of the vehicles, a green 2012 Chevrolet truck, was stolen then set on fire in Pouce Coupe.

The other vehicle, a 1993 Chevrolet truck, was stolen in Dawson Creek and lit on fire only 2 blocks from the location where it was stolen.

Meanwhile, a young man has his BMX bicycle stolen while he was at work on July 28.

The bike was stolen from the area of 8th Street and 118 Avenue in Dawson Creek, described as a black BMX with green rims.

Finally, unrelated to stolen property, Ron Pettigrew Elementary was broken into during the early hours of July 30.

The suspects caused damage throughout the school, which includes breaking 12 windows.
