Local athletes off to good start at B.C. Summer Games

Tate Haugan of Fort St. John had a strong performance in the boys duathlon as he finished in seventh place.

Alyssa Webster of Fort St. John and Emily Shaw of Charlie Lake took part in the girls duathlon. Webster finished 22nd while Shaw took 17th place.

The B.C. Summer Games in Nanaimo continue today before reaching their conclusion tomorrow.
