The total budget for the project in the city’s 2014 capital expenditures budget is $300,000, which may be somewhat exceeded after additional cost are calculated, including an already completed environmental investigation, a total of $16,000, and engineering/project management cost, estimated at $15,000.
The tendered price combined with the engineering and investigation cost is $311,084.
There’s also a $10,000 contingency to cover “miscellaneous expenses”, which will be taken from the Fair Share Reserve Fund to supplement the budget.
