Election nomination forms available at City Hall

For a person to be qualified to be nominated for mayor or one of the six councillor positions they must be a Canadian citizen, 18 years old or old as of the voting day (November 15, 2014), a British Columbia resident for at least 6 months immediately before the day nomination papers are filed, and not be disqualified under the Local Government Act or any other enactment from being nominated for, being elected to, or holding the office, or be otherwise disqualified by law.

Completed forms can be sent it by hand, mail, or other delivery service to Fort St. John City Hall, 10631 100 Street, V1J 3Z5 from 9 a.m. beginning on Tuesday, September 30 until 4 p.m. on Friday, October 10. Forms can also be faxed to 250-787-8181, or emailed to jprestley@fortstjohn.ca.
