Twenty-one children, a mix of boys and girls, were on board today, many of them decked out in their very best fairy costumes. NEAT also provided fairy wings for the participants.
Fairy houses were decorated with glitter, while “toadstools” were created for these “fairies” to sit on.
However, the real take way from the project is the potential of growing herbs inside the house.
There was also a lemonade/cupcake stand, as well as a glitter station where children got their “fairy dust.”
This is one of many fun, free events NEAT has hosted in the Community Gardens this summer.
