As a result of the on-going and active investigation, a 17 year old youth was taken into custody and has been remanded under the Mental Health Act for assessment.

Investigators are at the preliminary stages of this investigation but do not believe this is a random incident and are working to confirm what happened. No charges have been laid in connection with this matter.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the Mackenzie RCMP.
