The Moose FM Block Party is only three weeks away

There are so many events happening this year at the Moose FM Block Party presented by On the Rocks, it’s hard to know where to start.  Lets start with the street performers.  We have twice as many street performers joining us this year at the Block Party.  The North Peace Savings & Credit Union Main stage, will have local musicians and street performers from all over Canada.  Find out who is coming by visiting our website www.moosefmblockparty.ca.  We will be posting more performer bio’s every day.

Then there is the Spectra Energy Kids Zone.  This special area of 101 avenue from 100 street to 102 street is just for kids.  We will have lots of inflatable toys from Evangel Chapel, a petting zoo, face painting and a special kids stage sponsored by the City of Fort St. John.  On this stage, you’ll see special shows, just for kids.

We also have the LP Peace Valley OSB Arts Market, this area of 100 street will feature local artists and small businesses showcasing what they do best.  You will also see displays from the Fort St. John Museum, the EnCana Events Centre and more.

On top of all that there is also the show and shine put on by the Classic Cruisers, members of our Emergency Services and lots of food.

But that’s only the events happening from 11am to 6pm.  Once the day is over, we will keep 101 avenue closed in front of Dairy Queen for a special family dance, put on by Evangel Chapel.

Get all the details about this years event at www.moosefmblockparty.ca

We will post a full schedule of events and our stage schedules later this week.

Bring all your friends to the biggest Block Party in town….Saturday September 6, 2014 from 11am to 11pm.
