Former Taylor resident wanted on fraud charges near Calgary

He’s currently wanted on a number of warrants in Calgary, Chestermere, Crowsnest Pass, Viking, St. Paul, and Olds. He’s wanted on charges of Fraud over $5,000, Fraud under $5,000, and breaching conditions of his release. There are similar charges awaiting him Weyburn, Saskatchewan.

Kowalczyk is alleged to have been luring victims through online classifieds for high value items such as farm and industrial equipment. Police say he took the deposits for the items then not providing the product.

Police believe Kowalczyk is travelling with his 2012 Nissan Titan dark grey in colour and a 2009 Fleetwood travel trailer. 

Anyone with information on Kowalczyk’s whereabouts is asked to call the Three Hills RCMP at 403-443-5539, or Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-8477.
