The Flyers opened the scoring early in the first period and added a second goal with less than five minutes left in the opening frame.

As the second period got underway the Knights came out strong and tied the game with two goals in a nine second span. The Flyers kept with it however and took the lead in the second period with 2:57 remaining.

Unfortunately for the Flyers they were unable to seal the deal as the third period neared its conclusion. The Knights tied the game with 3:59 remaining and stayed that way through the final whistle.
