New resources coming to Fort St. John Library

The children’s multi-lingual collection will feature bilingual and first language children’s books in six of the most common first languages for newly immigrated families. German, Russian, Arabic, and Tagalog will be available initially while books in Hindi and Punjab will follow after.

The library will be adding two iPad stations to the children’s area. The iPad’s will contain a variety of literacy based apps for pre-school children. The iPad stations will be available for use starting at noon until closing time at the library starting next Wednesday.

Morgan Peletier of the Fort St. John Public Library will be meeting with the public from 1-3 p.m. on September 24 in the children’s area to go over the new additions.
