Suspect faces handful of charges after arrest in Dawson Creek

Sergeant Lindsey Houghton of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit says the suspect has ties to the United Nations gang, and goes on to say he also has ties to a group of alleged drug dealers from Alberta, which subsequently led to the arrest.

Robert Cletus Traverse is charged with possession of a substance for trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a restricted firearm among other things.

Traverse is in custody and is scheduled to appear in Dawson Creek Provincial Court on September 16th 2014.
