Victims identified in two vehicle crash last week

Newbold was a Fort St. John resident, while Bloy resided in Grande Cache, Alberta. Kenneth and Cheryl Reed were from Balgonie, Saskatchewan.

Newbold was the driver of a flatbed truck where Bloy was riding as a passenger. The vehicle was travelling southbound on the Alaska Highway when it collided head-on with the other truck which was being driven by Cheryl Reed.

All four involved were deceased at the scene when first responders arrived. No further details are available, and the investigation is ongoing.
