Difficult weekend for Knights of Columbus Flyers

The Flyers got off to a great start in their first game against Camrose as they led 2-0 after the first period. The game got away from the Flyers in the second however as they allowed three goals. The Flyers were able to score one of their own in the frame to knot things up at 3-3 in the second, but Camrose scored the lone goal in the final 20 minutes to take the win.

Scoring in the game were Curtis Hammond, Isaac Wagner, and Connor Bowie.

In Sunday’s game against Leduc the Flyers had a disastrous start. Leduc put six goals on the board in the first period and added another two in the second before Fort St. John scored one in the second. The Flyers deposited three markers in the third before Leduc scored a final tally with just over 10 minutes left to play.

Finding the back of the net for the Flyers were Brayden Davis, Aiden Craig-Steele, Kolton Leslie, and Connor Bowie.

The Flyers have two games on tap this weekend as they’ll be on home ice against the Big Lakes Thunder.
