Early morning robbery at Chevron gas station

“A track was found but it appears the suspect got into a vehicle to leave the scene,” Cpl. Jodi Shelki said of an area scouted by the Canine Unit.

Cpl. Shelki goes on to say investigators believe the suspect fled on the south-end of the highway after entering the gas station on the north.

The incident took place during the early hours of 4:40 a.m., and while police have yet to composite a description of the suspect, video surveillance is being reviewed.

Anyone who may have seen something suspicious at the time or have any information are asked to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250 787 8100 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222 8477.
