Fort St. John City Council yet to be challenged

The new nomination packages include Councillor Dan Davies, Larry Evans and Gordon Klassen.

This is addition to Mayor Lori Ackerman and Councillor Trevor Bolin, both of whom submitted papers earlier in the week.

There’s yet to be a single member of the Fort St. John community challenging the mayor and councillors for their position.

Nominations end on October 10 and polls open November 15, with early voting being offered November 5 and November 12.

However, if nobody challenges these incumbents, there’s no need for an election as they’ll all be winners by acclamation.
