Fort St. John RCMP looking for suspect in afternoon robbery


“On October 9th at approximately 5 pm a Caucasian female entered the Econo Liquor Store on Alaska Road South and demanded money from the employee working there. The female had a knife but was unsuccessful in getting any money and left the premises,” Cpl. Jodi Shelki said in a press release. “No one was hurt.”

Cpl. Shelki says police immediately searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a female, 5’3 in height, approximately 125 pounds, 28 – 35 years old, and has blue eyes. She was also seen wearing a black hooded sweater at the time of the incident, and is also described as having “cakey” makeup.
