Grande Prairie opened the scoring midway through the first period. The teams traded goals twice in the time remaining in the frame as the score was tied at two after 20 minutes of play.

The even play continued in the second. Grande Prairie took a 3-2 lead 4:13 into the frame, but Fort St. John responded less than a minute later to tie things up once again. Both teams would find the back of the net two more times each as the score was deadlocked at five heading towards the final period.

The Knights came out strong in the third period as the teams returned to the ice. Grande Prairie scored three times in the first 10 minutes to take a comfortable lead. The teams would trade the next two goals before Fort St. John got two late goals to round out the scoring in the contest.

Scoring in order for the Flyers were Connor Bowie, Isaac Wagner, Connor Kindrat, Kolton Leslie, Kolton Leslie, Max Dobson, Brayden Davis, and Aiden Craig-Steele.

Next for the Flyers is a game this afternoon on the road against the Peace River Sabres.
