As the second period got underway Fort St. John again closed to within a goal as they found the back of the net 1:35 into the stanza. Dawson Creek once again had an answer as they went up 4-2 1:25 later. The Canucks added two more goals to take a commanding 6-2 lead heading into the final 20 minutes.
