However, Chair of the Pool Commission, Arthur Hadland says the wave and the tots’ pool will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time in an effort to “facilitate further detection work.”
“We think there’s a leak in there too which we haven’t found yet, so that will have to be attended to sooner than later,” Hadland said.
For those who have children taking swimming lessons in the tots’ pool, they’ll be accommodated by staff.
The initial leak was detected in the leisure pool on October 1.
The regular winter pool schedule will begin on Saturday November 1, at which point, the temporary pool schedule will no longer be in effect.
