The Mayor’s Partnership consists of Bill Streeper of Fort Nelson, Dale Bumstead of Dawson Creek, Merlin Nichols of Chetwynd, Darwin Wren of Tumbler Ridge, Lori Ackerman of Fort St. John, Fred Jarvis of Taylor, and Bill Plowright of Pouce Coupe.

“During the official launch of the Coalition on September 08, members made it clear that the work of the Coalition would be open and transparent,” Media Relations Officer, Kevin Brown said in a written statement. “Part of this commitment includes having the monthly Mayors’ Partnership Meetings be open to the public.”

During the Mayors’ Partnership Meeting, members will hear from the Canadian Society for Unconventional Resources, Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, Energy Services B.C. and staff from the Regional Ministry of Transportation to name a few.

The first meeting is being held inside Fort St. John’s Council Chambers, Wednesday October 22, with two chances to attend; once at 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and another at 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
