“Fortunately the other three vehicles have been recovered” Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said. “We can only hope the owner of this stolen vehicle will be as lucky.”

Cpl. Shelkie is reminding the public of the best ways to protect your vehicle from theft:

  • Use an anti-theft device and lock your doors when you leave your vehicle
  • Remove possessions from your vehicle – wallets, shopping bags, electronics, brief cases, etc.
  • Do not keep any keys to your vehicle in the vehicle
  • Park in well-lit areas, near pedestrian traffic
