Taylor still in need of councillors, plenty of mayoral candidates

The newest addition to the list of potential mayors for Taylor is Wayne Wilmot, and according to his profile on Civic Info B.C., he’s served on council prior to 2011. Wilmot joins Councillor Brad Filmer, and Rob Fraser, who also served on council prior to 2011.

On the council front, Dave Lueneberg and Councillor Betty Ponto are the only two seeking a seat as a councillor at City Hall.

If today holds bearings to the future, they won’t be fighting too hard to get it, because as it stands, they’re both running unopposed.

The deadline to submit a nomination package is this Friday.
