Victims identified in fatal Highway 29 collision

Both of the victims, Nicolae Ghidu-Bors, 27, and John Toma, 47, are from Calgary Alberta.

Toma was the front-seat passenger in an SUV being driven by Ghidu-Bors, heading eastbound on Highway 29 at little after 8:30 p.m., when the vehicle lost control and rolled.

B.C. Ambulance pronounced Ghidu-Bors and Toma dead at the scene.

These deaths continue to be investigated by the B.C. Coroners Service and the RCMP Traffic Services.

The families of the victims have been notified, and are asking for privacy during this difficult time.
