Annual Pumpkin Plunge happening today

Bring your pumpkin to the Neat crew at and the pumpkin will be dropped from a platform 20 feet in the air.  All the pumpkin leftovers will then be composted.  The event is all by donation in support of the Northern Environmental Action Team.

On top of the annual Pumpkin Plunge, Neat will be holding their first Soup Stock.  This waste free event brings together various groups and their soup-making skills.  Tickets will be only $2 each and you’ll be able to sample soup from one of the booths.

Remember to bring your own mug and spoon.  This event runs go to 1 p.m. Saturday again at Home Hardware.
