Canada Games Torch Relay in Fort St. John today

Today (November 22, 2014), the 2015 Canada Games is celebrating the first Regional Community Torch Celebration and the second leg of the official 2015 Canada Winter Games Torch Relay.

The relay will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.  It will start at Bert Ambrose Elementary, go down 98th street, and cut over to 100th street via 108 Avenue. The relay will end in Centennial Park.

The relay will include over 20 local torchbearers, as well as a convoy of vehicles. During this time, we are encouraging community members to line the streets and cheer for these inspiring individuals. Traffic will be interrupted as the relay moves from block to block.
