Huskies aiming for better effort and attitude in two games this weekend

The team will take on the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks tonight at 8 p.m. The clubs have met once this season back in back in October, with Dawson Creek taking the game 5-2. The Junior Canucks have a 6-5-2 mark this NWJHL season, and are coming off a shootout loss to the Grande Prairie JDA Kings.

Tomorrow’s tilt also at 8 p.m. will be the fourth meeting of the year between the Huskies and Flyers. The Flyers have taken both games back in Fairview, but Fort St. John took the other game back at home. The Flyers are trying to keep pace the the North Peace Navigators and JDA Kings as they enter the weekend in third place, six points behind North Peace, and four points behind Grande Prairie.

The games will conclude a four game homestand for the Huskies. They sit in sixth place in the league standings at 4-7-0.
