The purpose of the funding, which was given to the Nenan Dane zaa Deh Zona Family Services Society, is to allow more First Nations, Aboriginal and Metis families to participate in PATH (Positive, Acceptance, Trust and Healing program) in Fort St. John.

The program includes participants being a part of “traditional decision-making healing circles,” which is said to “develop paths of trust, encourage positive change and create support networks.”

The CAI is a provincial program that “supports mental heath and substance use groups across B.C.”
