NPSS Oscars win north central zone volleyball championship

In their opening contest the Oscars battled Prince George Senior Secondary. The senior boys squad won handily 25-15, and 25-14.

Their second game pitted them against the Correlieu Clan. NPSS took the game easily again by scores of 25-6, and 25-20.

The finals had the Oscars in a rematch against Prince George Senior Secondary. The game was played in a best of five, and the Oscars won in three by scores of 25-21, 25-11, and 25-22.

The team went through the tournament without losing a single set. Coach Diane Sandberg said the team was strong all weekend, especially when it came to hitting and serving.

Reece Kerpan was recognized as the Most Outstanding Player for the tournament.
