Remembrance Day possibly becoming statuary holiday

MP’s have given second reading to a private member’s bill that would make November 11th a statutory holiday across the country.

It was introduced by New Democrat Dan Harris who thinks more people would go to Remembrance Day Services if they had the day off.

The bill now heads to a Commons Committee for further study.
