Vehicle collision on Mile 63 of the Alaska Highway

Cpl. Jodik Shelkie says details are limited at this point, but has confirmed both vehicles are still on the road waiting to be towed.

“It is currently closed but it should be opening to alternating traffic soon,” Cpl. Shelkie said.

At the time of publication, Cpl. Shelkie said alternating traffic should open “really soon, like 15 – 20 minutes.”

Cpl. Shekie says some of those involved are reported to have minor injuries, “but nothing serious.”

The RCMP are continuing their investigation into the collision.
