Winter weather in the Peace and collision information from ICBC

A new moisture laden Pacific frontal system is expected to bring the new snow to the region, but the only Environment Canada estimate we have for this region is two – four centimeters tomorrow.

Meantime ICBC has put out a new crash claim assistance call to motorists across the province.

Not only does the bulletin carry the usual care and caution winter driving tips, but also some accident damage claim instructions.

They begin with a recommendation to use the 24 hours a day, seven days a week Dial-a-Claim system by calling 1 800 910 4222.

It also recommends you have ready to present the time and location of the crash, your driver’s license and vehicle plate numbers, the name of your preferred body shop, a police file number in the case of a serious crash, and any insurance information for vehicles not insured by ICBC.
